What is meditation about?

Meditation is both a state of mind – you feel at peace and centered – and the practice that leads you to this state of mind.
The art of meditation is about finding the middle point between relaxation and concentration. This point of equilibrium opens the door to an equanimous mind, capable of observing reality as is, not as you would like it to be.
Meditation is not about pushing your thoughts away or blanking your mind. You learn to accept whatever sensation or thought that arises, without judgment. Slowly but surely, you manage to tame your mind. You regain control over your thoughts, your emotions and your reactions. You become a master of life at peace, unconditionally happy.

Why meditate?

Relax and find inner peace

As you stop the daily frenzy and sit down, you give your body and mind a chance to relax and unwind. This mini-vacation of the mind untaps the infinite source of inner peace.

How to meditate?

There are thousands of meditation styles, teachers and applications out there. There is no magic recipe to know which one is for you. Keep on exploring until you find the one(s) that you resonate with and bring you peace of mind.

My meditation practice is inspired by the following traditions:

Dhammakaya

Lost for centuries, this technique (taught by Gautama the buda) was rediscovered by Luang Pu Sodh Candasaro in 1916 and taught since at Dhammakaya temples worldwide.

Vipassana

Passed on generation after generation in Myanmar, this technique (taught by Gautama the buda) spread across the world thanks to S. N. Goenka’s teachings.

Interpersonal Neurobiology

Bridges Eastern and Western wisdom about the nature of the mind, Dr. Daniel Siegel created the Wheel of Awareness meditation to open the door to the quantum field.
